April Ross, a beach volleyball star American She is one of a small set of females who've had medals won in multiple Olympics. Ross was an international relations major at USC. Margie Ross, Ross' mother, was never given the opportunity to see Ross' daughter blossom into an international beach volleyball star. Ross's mother died of breast carcinoma in the year 2001. Ross had just become a second-year student at USC. As a result, Ross continues to be near to her mother who passed away.
