Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She also has produced films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. As a young girl Paula Patton grew up in an Los Angeles middle-class household. She was raised by a mother, who was a fan of movies. Paula became involved in many co-curricular events at school however she showed a particular interest in dramatics. She loved to play act with her classmates and took part in the school's stage productions. After performing in several performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and deciding to make acting her career. She was enrolled at The University of Southern California in an intensive summer course and was awed by her experience. She was awarded a three-month project creating documentaries for PBS. When she was able to complete the assignment successfully, she started working as an assistant for television documentary production. In the following years, she transitioned to the production of documentaries. She still had a dream to work as an actress although she was content in her present position. The romantic comedies Hitch she played a small role alongside Will Smith. Since then she has appeared in a variety of film and TV programs.
